Tree-free pulp & fibre · Asia to Europe

Bamboo and bagasse pulp for molded fiber.

Fibra is a supplier of non-wood pulp sheets and pulp molding machinery, from qualified mills in China and India to converters across Europe. Specified, documented, delivered.

Dry pulp sheets and board, bleached and unbleached, baled for molded-fiber production. Typical ranges shown; per-lot certificate of analysis governs.

Why tree-free, why now

In Europe, fibre substitution is law, not fashion.

Single-use plastic tableware is banned. PFAS grease barriers are next. Every deadline that tightens the rules for plastic and fluorochemicals widens the case for certified non-wood fibre.

SUPDJUL 2021

Plastic tableware banned

The EU Single-Use Plastics Directive removed plastic plates, cutlery and EPS food containers from the market. Molded fiber is the substitution of record.

PPWR12 AUG 2026

PFAS limits in food packaging

From 12 August 2026, food-contact packaging above the PPWR's PFAS thresholds cannot be placed on the EU market, with no grandfathering for existing stock.

EUDRSTATUS

A lighter deforestation file

Bamboo falls outside the current scope of the EU Deforestation Regulation per the Commission's published FAQ, and sugarcane is not a listed commodity. We monitor and document the status.

The Fibra dossier

Documentation is part of the product.

Anyone can ship a container of pulp. The work is proving what is in it. Every Fibra lot travels with the paperwork a European converter needs for its own declaration of conformity, so compliance stops being your research project.

  • D-01 Certificate of analysis, per lot
Moisture, brightness, freeness, ash and heavy metals against the agreed spec window.
  • D-02 EU food-contact declaration
Regulation (EC) 1935/2004 declaration with GMP statement under Regulation (EC) 2023/2006.
  • D-03 Fluorine data for PPWR
Total organic fluorine test data on the furnish, referenced to the PPWR thresholds that apply from August 2026.
  • D-04 Compostability conformity
EN 13432 certification path for the furnish, supporting TÜV Austria and DIN CERTCO marks on your end product.
  • D-05 Chain of custody & origin
FSC chain-of-custody where certified, mill identity, origin declarations and our EUDR position note.
  • D-06 Third-party inspection
Pre-shipment inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek, arranged on request.

Supply

Two countries. One supply promise.

Single-mill supply is a single point of failure. Fibra qualifies parallel sources across two origins, manages the cane-crush season, and plans freight around the routing realities of Asia-to-Europe trade.

Bamboo origin
China · Sichuan and Guizhou. The heartland of world bamboo pulping, shipped via Yangtze river ports and the southern seaboard.
Bagasse origin
China and India, in parallel. The Guangxi sugar belt plus India's bagasse pulping base. Dual origin hedges season, price and geography.
Format
Dry pulp sheets and board, bleached or unbleached, packed in export bales and containerized with moisture discipline.
Terms
FOB to DDP. Quotation in EUR or USD, Incoterms to suit your logistics, documentation in English.
Volumes
Trial lots to contract supply. Start with a sample and a trial shipment; scale on a supply schedule that matches your line.

Machinery

The furnish and the machine, from one desk.

Mills sell fibre. Machine builders sell iron. The risk of matching one to the other has always been yours. Fibra supplies pulp molding lines, molds and tooling alongside the pulp that runs on them, so one supplier answers for the pairing.

  • Define the product

Tableware, clamshells, trays, lids, egg packaging or protective inserts: the end product sets the line type and the furnish.

  • Match line and furnish

Forming, hot-press and trim configuration matched to a bamboo, bagasse or blended furnish specification.

  • Commission and supply

Installation and commissioning coordinated with the machine works, then continuous pulp supply under one relationship.
