Bamboo pulp. The long fibre of a tree-free furnish.
Bamboo is a grass that pulps like a softwood. Its long fibre gives molded-fiber products the tensile and tear strength that short agricultural fibres cannot reach alone. Fibra supplies bamboo kraft pulp as dry sheets and board, bleached or unbleached, from the Sichuan and Guizhou bamboo basins.
Bleached bamboo kraft pulp
For food-contact tableware and white or light-toned products. Elemental-chlorine-free and totally-chlorine-free bleaching sequences available depending on mill and grade.
Unbleached bamboo kraft pulp
Natural-tone pulp with maximum fibre strength retained. For kraft-look tableware, protective packaging and industrial molded parts where color signals the material.

Why bamboo
Strength without trees. Documentation without drama.
In a molded-fiber furnish, bamboo does the structural work. And because bamboo is botanically a grass, it carries a lighter EU regulatory file than wood fibre.
- Performance
- Long fibre, high tear and tensile strength. Blending long bamboo fibre with short bagasse fibre is the documented route to strong, PFAS-free molded products.
- Regeneration
- Harvest cycles measured in years, not decades. Bamboo regrows from its own root system after harvest, without replanting.
- EUDR status
- Outside current scope. The European Commission's EUDR FAQ clarifies that products made exclusively of bamboo are not in scope of the regulation. We track the guidance and share our position note with customers.
- Chain of custody
- FSC certification exists for bamboo, and so does misuse of it. We verify certificate codes against the FSC database and supply chain-of-custody documentation you can check yourself.
Applications
Where bamboo pulp earns its place.
Tableware and foodservice packaging
Plates, bowls, clamshells and cup lids where rigidity and edge strength decide whether the product survives real use.
Strength component in bagasse blends
Dosed into a bagasse furnish, bamboo lifts wet and dry strength so converters can hit performance targets without fluorochemical additives.
Protective and industrial molded fiber
Inserts, trays and transport packaging where tear resistance and cushioning performance matter more than color.
